CITTANUOVA AT THE CROSSROADS OF FOOD AND FASHION
A Taste of Italian Chic at East Hampton Hot Spot

East Hampton, NY (January 2005) — From irresistible Milanese fare to one-of-a-kind designs, Cittanuova serves up a slice
of Italian living in the heart of East Hampton village. Opened in June 2004, Cittanuova unites European style and
sophistication with Hamptons casual cool.

Fabulous Fare
For lunch or dinner, from a quick bite to a hearty meal, Cittanuova’s “nuova cucina” features traditional classics with a
modern twist. Executive Chef Kevin Penner (also of The 1770 House) and Chef di Cucina James Gee (formerly of Spago
Chicago) team up to create a mouthwatering Milanese and Tuscan menu that includes a first-rate selection of cured meats
and cheeses, paninis, pastas, risottos, fresh vegetables, grilled flat bread pizzas, and hearty entrees. Made fresh daily,
house-made gelato and sorbetti are available in sinfully good flavors like nocciola and zabaglione. Scoops are sold to take
out too. The wine list offers a selection of quality and affordable Italian and Long Island wines available by the bottle
or quartino.

Designer Goods To-Go
Tabletops are a virtual runway of coveted collectibles from stylish stemless European glasses to rechargeable Candela
lamps. Pick up Italian china from Richard Ginori and coasters, trays and placemats from New York based-designer Meg
Cohen, who sells to the likes of MOMA Design Store, Bergdorf Goodman and Paul Smith. You can even buy the shirt off
your server’s back. From t-shirts to caps, Cittawear is available for sale. Just ask.

Location, Location, Location
Right in the middle of East Hampton’s own boutique-filled Newtown Lane, Cittanuova attracts shopaholics, savvy travelers
and devoted locals to the sleek and sexy airy interior. The modern trattoria is filled with stylish features like black and
white mosaics, De Padova chairs and tables, smooth dark chocolate banquettes and Artemide lighting fixtures. In warm
weather months, the retractable façade at Cittanuova opens up for al fresco dining on the front terrace while the
floor-to-ceiling glass doors of the main dining room open to a private garden patio in the back. But, it’s the big marble
bar that draws fans of great food and sporting events, with three high-definition plasma televisions.

Fabulous food and a fashionable setting meet at Cittanuova, bringing a fresh flavor to the village of East Hampton.
